Sun Run 2025
The Sun Run is back on 1 February 2025 as one of Sydney’s most popular family-friendly community sporting events.
Challenge yourself over a 7km or 10km distance along the picturesque coast from Dee Why to Manly Beach.
Whether you are an elite athlete, causal jogger or just out to have fun and keep healthy and active there is something for everyone across the weekend.

Sydney's Backyard Ultra
Sydney's Backyard Ultra is based at the scenic St. Ives Showground starting 12 April 2025.
A Backyard Ultra is a form of ultramarathon race where competitors must consecutively run a 6.71km course every hour, on the hour, in an epic showdown until only one remains.
The course, based from the main oval, is 98% fire trail and grass with some tarmac.
Canberra Times Marathon Festival
The Canberra Times Marathon Festival on 13 April 2025 is the oldest city marathon in Australia.
This prestigious event offers five different distances that each showcase the scenery of Australia's Capital City. Choose from the AIMS certified Marathon, Half Marathon and 10km, or the 5.4km or Kids' 2km fun run.
All races start near the Old Parliament House and allow you to soak in the scenic views of Lake Burley Griffin and the Parliamentary Triangle.
The event is part of a 3 day expo from 11 - 13 April 2025.
HOKA Runaway Sydney Half Marathon
The iconic HOKA Runaway Sydney Half Marathon returns to the streets of Sydney, NSW on 4 May 2025.
With a Half Marathon route and a 10km option, whichever course you choose, you'll take in some of the best highlights of the Sydney CBD including; the Sydney Opera House, Harbour Bridge, Barangaroo Reserve, The Rocks and Pyrmont Peninsula. The event finish line is on Prince Albert Road, adjacent to Queens Square where a fun event village experience awaits.
Runaway Sydney joins three incredible destination running events across Australia and New Zealand as part of the Runaway Marathon Series. Places where the natural beauty, world class running, local hospitality and food and wine options make for so much more than just another running event.
Gold Coast Marathon
Run for the good times at the Gold Coast Marathon from 5 to 6 July 2025 on the beautiful Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia.
The world class marathon will attract participants of all ages and abilities across 8 races including; the Gold Coast Marathon, Wheelchair Marathon, Half Marathon, Wheelchair 10km, 10km Run, 5km fun run, 4km Junior Dash and 2km Junior Dash.
The Gold Coast Marathon, an IAAF Gold Label Road Race, is the pinnacle of road running events in Australia and during its history has distinguished itself as one of the most prestigious marathons in the world with a flat, fast and scenic course.

TCS Sydney Marathon 2025
Run one of the world’s most scenic marathon courses at the TCS Sydney Marathon presented by ASICS on 31 August 2025.
The Sydney Marathon is now the seventh member of the Abbott World Marathon Majors (AbbottWMM).
The course takes in some of Sydney’s most spectacular and historic landmarks including the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House.
Supporting distances are 10km and a 4.2km mini marathon - both courses take in the Sydney Harbour Bridge and finish at the Conservatorium of Music, the entrance of the Royal Botanic Garden.
IRONMAN 70.3 Western Sydney
IRONMAN 70.3 Western Sydney on 21 September 2025 is nestled at the base of the Blue Mountains and uses the protected Penrith Lakes for the swim, located at the International Regatta Centre.
The bike course includes breathtaking views of the Blue Mountains. The flat run course takes in Penrith’s Nepean River along the scenic Great River Walk, before runners return to the iconic Sydney International Regatta Centre venue where supporters have plenty of places to cheer on athletes and to celebrate as they run down the finish chute.
Bondi to Manly Ultra 2025
Bondi to Manly Ultra on 25 October 2025 is an 80km 'urban' ultra that traverses the coastline between Sydney's two most famous beaches.
Starting at the famous Bondi Pavilion, the course follows the Bondi to Manly walking track, weaving along spectacular cliff tops to Watsons Bay. The route then hugs the harbour foreshore through national parks, around iconic Australian landmarks and cultural sites, to the finish line at Manly Beach.
The race can either be run solo or in a relay team with runners splitting the distance into four legs of roughly 20km each. Very limited entries are available.
This is a not-for-profit event. All proceeds will be donated to Bondi to Manly Walk Supporters and reinvested into preserving and enhancing the Bondi to Manly walking track.
Ultra-Trail Kosciuszko by UTMB®
The Ultra-Trail Kosciuszko by UTMB® from 27 to 29 November 2025 is one of Australia's premium trail running events.
This event has been designed for trail runners, by trail runners and includes four distances to choose from; 30km, 50km, 100km and a 100 Miler.
The courses take in the highlights of the Snowy Mountains, with alpine meadows, snow gum forests, crystal clear streams and an ascent to the highest point in Australia. All four races finish in Thredbo.

TMC x SPEEDO SWIM CLUB
TMC x Speedo Swim Club - Run + Plunge, Manly & Bondi!
Come and join us as we head back to Manly on 26th October, for World Swimming Day.
We'll be meeting up at Dolce Terra Manly & Speedos Cafe Bondi to start the day right with a 3km run, sea swim and breakfast on us afterwards.
You don't need to be a pro, just willing to give it a go.
